Junko Shimazaki was born in Japan and moved to Arizona to attend college.
After graduating form Arizona State University she held positions at a number of corporations where she played an important role as a bilingual executive. She is presently the Principal of JAAZ Translation & More.
She continues to call Arizona home today where she has spent more time that in her native country of Japan. She is an avid tango dancer and her love of tango was the inspiration for this book, her own world of Doll.
